Here's how all local finishers fared, based on preliminary results from the Boston Athletic Association: Veteran runner Marc Burget, at 2:46:31, was the highest-placed local man. The 42-year-old Landau, coming off a top-five finish in last month's Gate River Run in Jacksonville, completed the course in 2:31:56 to place 13th among all women and fourth-fastest among American women. Led by Jacksonville resident Kate Landau, more than 70 competitors from Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia completed Monday’s Boston Marathon, the 123nd running of the annual race.
